DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU – DRAA VALLEY – MHAMID

Your driver will pick you up at 7.30 am at your accommodation in Marrakech. We drive through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains, its Berber villages and over the spectacular Tizin’Tichka pass (2.260m) to
reach and visit the UNESCO classified village of Ait Benhaddou. Afterwards we continue via Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of North Africa with its Atlas Film Studios. Lunch will be enjoyed near Agdz, close to the Kasbah Tamnougalt. After lunch, the journey continues east through the Draa valley towards Zagora.
We stop on the way to visit the underground Kasbah, the Koran library and a pottery of historical Tamegroute before reaching Mhamid. Here you will change from the car to the back of a camel and enjoy an unforgettable sunset ride to our camp in Erg Lihoudi. Overnight including half board at the peaceful Adventures Desert Camp.

DAY 2 : MHAMID – AGDZ – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast. Take a camel ride back to Mhamid (alternatively you can get picked-up by car) from where we will drive back through the Draa valley towards Agdz, discovering the hidden treasures of the Southern region. The journey continues on to Ouarzazate where you’ll visit the Kasbah Taourirt and lunch will be served. In the afternoon, we drive back to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and reach the red city in the evening.
